Love love love L’Amitie Bistro in Denton. Definitely worth the short 30 minute drive from Keller and only 5 minutes from UNT. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious including the Toffee latte, omelette, Mexican breakfast with amazing jalapeño grits. And the breakfast potatoes alone are worth the drive! Our server, Austin, was superb. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed so no need to rush through your meal. Serving sizes are huge. I don’t know how they serve such a varied menu and everything was served hot. I will definitely be back everytime I come to visit my sister in Ft Worth. Give it a try. You will love it!

We were looking for a nice spot for girls’ night, and this turned out to be the perfect place! It has the charm of a cozy French café, warm, inviting, and stylish. The menu isn’t very long, but everything we tried was delicious. We had the watermelon salad, croque, chicken, and both the crème brûlée and chocolate desserts, all were excellent. The wine selection was also impressive and paired nicely with our meal. Highly recommend for a relaxed and elegant evening out!

Lunch was delicious! Like delicious! I had the bananas Foster French toast and got a side of sausage. It was one of the best things I've eaten! The cappuccinos are so good! I had a regular one and my daughter had the vanilla and lavender one. It was so will made and balanced! We also had the cheesy omelette. There was so much cheese!!! It was the best!! The croissant sandwiches are yummy! And the banana Nutella crepes were really good as well! The restaurant was packed for a Wednesday lunch! They were on a short wait! It's just that good!! The restaurant is now open for dinner! The food was delicious! I had the gnocchi and my husband had the steak. The steak was similar to beef Burgundy. The wine seemed to go more with the brunch menu and not the dinner menu. The prices were pretty good. Some of the menu items seemed odd and not French at all. Either way, the food and service was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! One the word gets out that they are open for dinner, this place is going to be packed!

Great food! Such a cute bistro too! We enjoyed breakfast on a Saturday and it wasn’t too busy and we got our food fast! The potatoes are delicious!

After our reservation for 12 at another place did not work out, we called L’Amitie to see if they had the space. We were so lucky that they had the room available! They were able to sit us within 15 minutes of the call and they were so nice! Every employee was kind, the coffee was delicious and the food was amazing!! When I wanted a coffee that they had run out of syrup for, they offered to make more, instead of just saying they were out. I chose a different option, but amazing that they offered. This is absolutely a place that wants you to enjoy your time there. Will definitely return.
